My Music

I mess around with music a lot. As of early 2024, I make and finish several songs a month. Most of my music right now is MIDI music, made using OpenMPT in IT format with the Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth instruments, then converted to MIDI. I've also done some stuff in FamiTracker but I haven't used it much in a few years.
Sadly, I don't know how to play any instruments, unless you count using both hands to play one side of a keyboard.

PlerbMidi

This is a pack containing various MIDIs I've made, hosted on Doomworld. I'll periodically update it whenever more MIDIs are ready to release. This is the most up to date selection of my music (at least my MIDI music), I don't want to bother listing everything in it on this page as there's so much of it. You can use these songs in whatever you'd like (within reasonable limits), as long as you give credit.

This is a very short tune and I don't even know why I bothered to upload it on it's own. It's decent. I think this is the only song I've ever made to NOT be in a 4/4 time signature, so there's that, at least.

My best FamiTracker composition. No major complaints here. Also it's by far my most viewed Youtube video as of writing this (less than 300 views, but that's good enough for me).

This was my first attempt at making a pseudo-MIDI in a tracker program. Why did I use a tracker program instead of a MIDI sequencer? MIDI sequencers scare me. I'll make an actual MIDI version eventually.
Probably the best original song I made up to this point. I like the chord progression especially. The opening was loosely based off of a tune I made when I was 8 years old. The overall style was somewhat inspired by Warkanoid/JetBall's music, a really obscure Arkanoid clone from 2000.
This is planned to be used in a game that's still in the planning phase. I have SEVERAL pseudo-MIDIs, most of them unfinished, that should also end up in said game.

This is the first song I've completed in OpenMPT that wasn't pretending to be a MIDI or something. Everything except the first pattern was made over the course of a single day. It turned out really good I think, especially the piano bit from 0:46 to 1:24.
